The day has finally arrived, as the highly-anticipated Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures blu-ray set is now available in the US (it's coming out on October 8th in the UK)!

I ventured out first thing this morning to pick up my two copies (one to open, and one to keep sealed for the collection of course), with my first stop being a local Walmart store. Seeing as they did not have any special promos for the blu-ray set, I left the store and proceeded to Target just down the road.

Target was selling the blu-ray for $69.99 and were offering a 5-piece set of 5"x7" limited edition lithographs as their pack-in.  5-piece you say? Yes, a 5-piece set, as the set contained one of the theatrical posters for the four Indy films and a special collector's edition litho of the Raiders IMAX poster! What is interesting about the IMAX poster litho is that it appears to be a limited run of 20,000 pieces (if you can call 20,000 "limited"), as my litho was numbered 06622 / 20,000. The lithos came packed in a yellow envelope with photos of all 5 pieces on the front.

I have yet to hit up my local Best Buy store to see if they are offering any exclusive items with their blu-ray sets. But given the "limited" production run of the IMAX poster lithos included in the Target set, I would highly recommend making your purchase from them!
