RUMOR: Star Wars Rebels: Tim Curry Returning as Voice of Palpatine?
Reported by Justin on 21 Dec 2013 18:07

An article posted on Screencrush providing a "where are they now?" look at the cast of the 2000 film Charlie's Angels mentions that actor Tim Curry, who provided the voice for Palpatine/Darth Sidious in Season 5 of The Clone Wars after the unfortunate passing of Ian Abercrombie, will be returning to the cast of Star Wars Rebels in the same capacity.

Then: Tim Curry played Roger Corwin, the man believed to be responsible for kidnapping Eric Knox. Curry was known best for roles in ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show,’ ‘Clue’ and ‘Home Alone 2.’

Now: He mostly does voice work these days, and has lent his voice to ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars‘ as Palpatine, a role he will reprise for the upcoming ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ animated TV series.

As always, this can only be reported on as a rumor until we hear otherwise from an official Disney/Lucasfilm source.
