Star Wars goes to BBC Radio 2 this Friday

This friday, 18th May, Star Wars goes to BBC Radio 2 in the first of a two part documentary on the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars.  You can tune in at 7pm half an hour.  The second part of this documentary will be broadcast a week later, Friday 25th May, which is the thirtieth anniversary of the US film release.

Thirty years ago in a galaxy far, far away (but really just in a cinema down the road) one of the most popular, profitable, entertaining, and successful science fiction/action/adventure/fantasy films of all time was released. Since then Star Wars has become the most influential movie franchise in cinema history.

This all-star programme will feature a host of actors, musicians, directors and producers who worked on or were influenced by Star Wars, highlighting the impact the film has had on contemporary cinema in the 30 years since it was released.

James is an active member of the Star Wars collecting community, and is the Brand Director for Jedi News. James is also the host of the Star Wars Collectors Cast, and co-host of RADIO 1138 on the Jedi News Network.
