Star Wars Celebration Europe: School trips from FREE* and Stormtroopers in assembly!

Following a high level of interest from schools, organizers of Star Wars Celebration Europe, have introduced competitive rates for school trips to this exciting event which marks the 30th Anniversary of the Star Wars saga. Admission for children aged under 8 is FREE and for 8 to 16 year olds, it’s just £5 per pupil. What’s more, accompanying teachers pay just £5 each too – over 75% off the standard admission price! Pupils can also enter the Design a Droid competition and win a stormtrooper visit to their school – guaranteed to liven up assembly! The winning entries will also be reproduced in TOXIC and Lazer magazines, which are official partners for this competition.

Star Wars Celebration Europe will be the ultimate celebration of the very best of Star Wars. Far removed from a stereotypical ‘fan convention’, Celebration Europe will be a great day out for all, bringing together celebrities from all six movies, original costumes, props and sets, Jedi training for children, a Careers in Film feature, lifesize replica spacecraft, video and film presentations, droid-building, exclusive Star Wars art, workshops and much, much more. The event provides a unique, entertaining and informative destination for school children who will be among the first to see the exciting array of exhibits, many never seen before outside of the Lucasfilm Archive.

Barry Eldridge from Cards Inc commented,
“We’ve been delighted by the level of interest from schools and so were keen to make this a feasible school trip destination for the many young fans. The level of interest shows just how wide the appeal of Star Wars is and what a great entertainment experience the 30th anniversary celebrations will be for everyone.”

Taking place at ExCeL London’s state-of-the-art exhibition venue for first class facilities including dedicated coach drop-off and pick up points right outside the venue, this is one school trip not to be missed. Bringing together science, art, media studies and technology under one roof, it is sure to prove popular with teachers and pupils alike.
