Red Tails Tops Blu-ray Sales Chart for May 21-27

While it might not have produced the box office ticket sales it was looking for, Red Tails has come back strong during its home theater debut last week on blu-ray, as this update on Blu-ray.com points out.

For the week ending on May 27th, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment scored the top two sellers on both Blu-ray and overall home media charts, with the week’s biggest title the WWII adventure Red Tails. Despite some disappointing critical notices and a modest domestic gross of under $50 million, the George Lucas-produced feature made a solid home media debut that included robust Blu-ray figures; 48% of its total units purchased came from the HD market.
