Life-Size Darth Vader Made From Motorcycle Parts & Scrap Metal

One of the most exciting things that my wife and I do each holiday season involves visiting the booth of a company called Metal Park located in Bryant Park in NYC. They take discarded motorcycle parts and pieces of scrap metal and create some simply STUNNING characters from various pop culture franchises. From Star Wars to Aliens to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more, these guys design some truly unique pieces that will easily be the centerpiece of any collection.

Earlier this week we visited their booth which had a life-size Darth Vader statue on display to greet shoppers. Coming in at 7 feet tall and weighing nearly 1,000 pounds, this custom Vader was available for sale for a cool $18,000. Check out the photos I snapped of this behemoth in the image gallery below and then head on over to their site to see what other pieces they’ve created.
