This Weeks Publications – 24th September 2018

Welcome to this week’s publications breakdown.

This week we say farewell to the much loved Poe Dameron series by Charles Soule and we also see the release of the magnificent ‘The Star Wars Archives‘ by Paul Duncan.

The scheduled releases for this week will be;

Tuesday 25th September 2018

The Star Wars Archives: Episodes IV-VI (1977-1983) by Paul Duncan
Made in close collaboration with George Lucas and Lucasfilm, this XXL-sized tome (41.1 x 30cm) gathers script pages, production documents, concept art, storyboards, on-set photography, stills, and posters to present a definitive exploration of the original trilogy: Episodes IV-VI.
The Star Wars Cookbook: Han Sandwiches And Other Galactic Snacks by Lara Starr
(Chronicle Books)
I’ve been known to dabble in the kitchen and in fairness, even my wife will admit that I do the majority of the cooking, but that’s because I enjoy it. Sometimes you get a book of themed recipes and you sit there and think twice about even thinking of making one of the recipes, but on this occasion, I will be trying these out.There have been previous Star Wars cookbooks, but this one has something that all that have gone before does not. It comes with sandwich cutters shaped like the Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca!

Wednesday 26th September 2018

Doctor Aphra #24: The Catastrophe Con (Part 5)
Out of the frying pan, into the heat-death of a planet-killing meteor strike! Swindling, backstabbing and even occasionally feeling bad about it, all of Doctor Aphra’s attempts to escape her prison-world have failed. But…wait — here comes an Imperial shuttle. Could this be salvation?

Poe Dameron #31: The Awakening (Part 6)
In this final chapter of the Poe Dameron series, we see what may be Black Squadron’s last mission, as they desperately attempt to find allies for General Leia Organa’s decimated Resistance. It’s been one heck of a ride, but all stories must come to an end.

Han has left to get himself into more trouble, leaving Chewie all alone with the perplexing new problem that is a major pain in his hide! The iconic Wookiee will have to use all of his strength, wits, and patience to overcome this latest danger!
