Forum member Yamaro has pointed out something that I managed to miss when posting about the Star Wars Insider’s 100th Issue Sweepstakes earlier this week, which is that the competition is only open to those in the U.S. and Canada (with some further exceptions).
Here’s what it says in the Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. [and Canada] (except in the states of Florida, New York, [rhode Island] [ARIZONA] and Puerto Rico [and the Province of Quebec] and where otherwise prohibited by law or regulation) who are at least 13 years of age. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. Void where prohibited. Employees of Titan Entertainment Group Ltd., LUCASFILM Gentle Giant, Jakks Pacific, Cartamundi, Trends International, Hasbro, Mimoco, Oregon Scientific, Mello Smello, Sideshow Collectibles, Fathead LLC, , and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies and their immediate family members (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings and grandparents) and/or persons living in the same household are not eligible.
So, the moral of the story is; read the small-print before getting too excited!
Thanks to Yamaro for the info….
