Star Wars (2015) #1 Named Best Selling Comic of the Decade

The first issue of the Marvel Comics 2015 relaunch of the Star Wars series has topped the best seller list of the last decade after selling over 1 million copies worldwide. Also joining it on the list is Star Wars: Vader Down #1, which comes in at number 10.

‘Star Wars’ Issue 1, released by Marvel in 2015, has been named as the best selling comic of the decade. The comic book, by Jason Aaron and John Cassady, relaunched the Marvel ‘Star Wars’ comic line and is set after the events of ‘Star Wars IV A New Hope’. It was one of two Star Wars books in the top 10 and the collections are amazing!

The top 10 list, featuring sales of comics invoiced from 2010 to 2109 by Diamond Distributors, includes titles from Marvel, DC, Boom Comics and IDW.

Your ‘ComicScene Awards Publisher of the Year’, Image, had three titles in the top 20 including ‘The Walking Dead’ Issue 100 at number 16.

Here’s the top 10 list
