Via our friends at The SWU, we have learned that actress Catherine Taber, who provided the amazing voice work for Padmé Amidala in The Clone Wars animated TV series, will be narrating the audiobook version of author E.K. Johnston’s upcoming novel Star Wars: Queen’s Shadow. The 400-page novel, which was first announced during the Lucasfilm Publishing Panel at SDCC last year, is scheduled to be released on March 5 by Disney Publishing and can be pre-ordered right here.

Padmé Amidala served Naboo well as its queen, but now she is ready to begin a new chapter in her life. Then the newly-elected queen asks Padmé to serve Naboo in a new capacity–as its senator. With the help of her devoted handmaidens, Padmé must figure out how to navigate the treacherous waters of politics and forge a new identity beyond the queen’s shadow.

Be sure to check out the interview Lucasfilm’s dandy Dan Brooks conducted with Johnston about this new novel back in August if you missed it initially.
