Revealed earlier today during The Star Wars Show, Padme Amidala will be part of the story of author Timothy Zahn’s upcoming sequel novel Thrawn: Alliances (out July 24). To celebrate this news, StarWars.com has posted an exclusive excerpt from the novel placing Padme front & center.

We also learned Barnes & Noble will have an exclusive version of the title that comes with a poster featuring artwork of Padme on Batuu, the new planet that will be part of the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge theme park attractions in 2019 and is referenced in the book.

The first excerpt from Thrawn: Alliances was posted back in March followed by a second excerpt last month.

Check out the article’s intro copied below (and image of the B&N poster) and then take the supplied source link for the full excerpt.
