Jedi News Review: The Official Star Wars Fact File Issue 22

This issue the Official Star Wars Fact File looks at a forest battle, THE plucky astromech, a dangerous sith lord, a heroic X-wing pilot, a dark world, a shape-shifters weapon and a canyon-hopping airspeeder. Let’s hop into our T-16 and get those power converters…

Battles and Events takes an in-depth look at the Battle of Endor, the final (for now) battle against the Empire, and the conclusion of the (first?) Galactic Civil War. Droids and Machines opens the files on Artoo-Detoo, the key hero of the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War, giving us an insight into just what makes this droid tick. Humans and Aliens looks at two very different figures from history. First we look at Darth Bane, the dangerous sith lord who changed history and then turn our lasers to Wedge Antilles, hero of the Alliance who had a hand in destroying not one but two Death Stars.

Planets and Locations looks at the shadowy force-sensitive world of Dathomir,a world featured both in the early EU (dare we use that phrase anymore?) as well as later in The Clone Wars. Weapons and Technology looks at the impressive arsenal of Clawdite bounty Hunter Zam Wessell and finally Starships and Vehicles looks at one of the first vehicles we ever saw in the Star Wars saga, the Incom, T-16 Skyhopper that Luke famously flew through Beggars Canyon.

As ever the Official Star Wars Fact File goes into deep detail on a broad number of topics, characters, events and items, crossing the galaxy from star to star. It’s a heady ride, and long may it continue.
