Dark Horse Comic Reviews

Read on for a review of three Dark Horse titles that have been released in the last few months.

We’ve tried not to give too much away but you might still want to watch out for spoilers!

Legacy #15

There is speculation amongst the imperials?  Is Cade Skywalker on Imperial Center?  Do the Sith have him?  Yes they do but what do they have planned for him and can he withstand their torture?

Best thing about this episode is that Darth Krayt’s identity is revealed and it was not who I thought it was going to be!

This series is full of action with loads of different things happening across a fractured universe.  You have everything you could want.  Jedi, Sith, Imperials, Bounty Hunters, Pirates.  If you enjoy the Expanded Universe in a different time period then you will love this series.

Rebellion #8

In part three of this story we find out why Wyl Tarson and his misfit team have come to Ahakista. Lead to a meeting place by casino boss Sardoth they meet up with local resistance leader Dunlan and imperial Lietenant Rasha Bex to achieve their objective.

Truly this is a suicidal mission.  Can they pull it off?

Dark Times #3

Trying to locate his missing daughter and wife Boma Greenbark discovers the terrible news that his wife has been killed and his daughter sold to a slaver.  Along with Jedi Das Jennir he is determined to find her but Jennir decides to go along to try and find her.  Along the way he has to make some tough decisions about what it means to be a Jedi.  Will he turn to the dark side or can he justify his actions?

This story although still in its early stages is very well written and the illustrations are fantastic.  In times of uncertainty can people really stay true to their beliefs.

Not a figure collector or autograph hunter Richard prefers to look for the more unusual collectables although his Star Wars toothpaste from the USA may now be a bit dodgy!
