It’s 5:01pm on December 1st which can only mean one thing…. it’s time to look behind the first door of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2018. This is the eighth LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar released annually since 2011.

Behind the first door of the advent calendar we get a mini version of the X-34 Lanspeeder first seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. The bag contains 20 pieces, of which only 18 are used in the build. I think this is a great representation of the Landspeeder and shows what can be achieved with a relatively small amount of LEGO elements in different colours. Whilst we’ve had a Landspeeder in previous year’s Advent Calendar this is a worthy upgrade, and a great start to this year’s calendar!

Join us tomorrow at 5:01pm GMT for a look behind door 2.
