Limited Run Games to Release Star Wars & Monkey Island Classics from Lucasfilm

E3 has been rich with Star Wars content with more details and gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the announcement of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You may have missed this news from Limited Run Games about a slate of physical releases of existing Lucasfilm games.

The lineup will kick off June 28 with the release of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter on PlayStation 4. (It has been available digitally on the PlayStation Store for years as a PS2 Classic converted to PS4, but Limited Run, of course, is offering a disc version.)

Limited Run is planning to release some of the collector’s editions on the games’ original platforms. 1991’s Star Wars on the NES and Game Boy will also be available June 28, while 1996’s Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and 1999’s Star Wars Episode I: Racer are both coming to Windows PC and Nintendo 64. In a blog post, Limited Run said it will release “elaborate Collector’s Edition packages every month” for the games in question, which also include non-Star Wars titles from LucasArts such as Monkey Island.

Here’s the list of LucasArts games that Limited Run is re-releasing:
