LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Will Not Include Microtransactions

In an interview posted over on Screen Rant, TT Games designer Mike Consalvey stated that the new LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game will not feature microtransactions of any kind. Consalvey also said the game will feature a new currency based around Kyber bricks as opposed to the gold bricks fans of the LEGO Star Wars series have become quite familiar with over the years. Acquiring studs will obviously be making a return in this title and all of the playable characters available in the game will be obtained through extensive gameplay Рthe more of the story you progress through, the more characters you can pick up along the way.

Check out the full interview segment right here. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be arriving sometime in 2020 (an official release date has not yet been announced). The official press release for the game can be found here.
