More Details About ‘Battlefront II’ Single Player Story Campaign

Star Wars Battlefront II cannot arrive on store shelves soon enough, especially not after laying eyes on that awesome trailer for the new single-player story mode that will be debuting in this sequel. A few media outlets spent some time playing the single-player mode and came away impressed with what they experienced.

IGN has posted an interview segment with David Robillard, lead gameplay developer at Motive Studios, the division that was responsible for designing Battlefront II‘s story mode. In the piece, Robillard talks about the overall process for developing the story mode, which included the team taking a trip to the Lucasfilm archives to photograph reference material in order to nail the true look & feel of Star Wars in their game. Robillard also mentions how the story mode will run about 5-8 hours in length depending on the player’s general playstyle, skill level, and selected difficulty level.

Oh, and you’ll also be able to play the game as a certain powerful Force-wielder.
