Werner Herzog Talks Working on The Mandalorian, Calls it “a Phenomenal Achievement”

In a recent interview conducted with the Associated Press, actor Werner Herzog spoke about his time working on the new live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Herzog praised the old-school filming techniques that Jon Favreau and crew used to develop this new entry in the Star Wars saga and called the series’ production “a phenomenal achievement”. He also revealed to the AP that his non-trust worthy character (currently unnamed at this point – other character details can be found here) will appear in two or three episodes in the series (there will be 8 episodes in total for Season 1) which will be available to consumers exclusively on the new Disney+ streaming service.

Herzog offered a small tidbit about his character in The Mandalorian earlier last month.

The first episode of The Mandalorian will be available for viewing when Disney+ officially launches later this year on November 12 in the United States. Herzog’s interview with the AP can be seen in the YouTube video embedded below.
