The days of waiting 5 years for a Star Wars film to arrive on home video are long gone. Less than 7 months after it smashed up the box office Rogue One arrives on Sky Cinema, hovering over satellite dishes across the UK on 11th August.

It’s a much-anticipated return to the legendary galaxy far, far away as Godzilla director Gareth Edwards serves up the first of three stand-alone Star Wars adventures. Events pick up directly before A New Hope, with the beleaguered Rebel Alliance desperately scrambling to stop the completion of the Empire’s new super-weapon – the Death Star. To prevent untold destruction, fugitive Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) – the daughter of Death Star designer Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) – must team up with an unlikely band of heroes and steal crucial plans.
