Samuel L. Jackson wants Star Wars Return as Mace Windu

Whenever he is asked, the response is always the same; Samuel L. Jackson wants to return to the role of Mace Windu in Star Wars. Despite dying in 2005’s Revenge of the Sith, incidentally he fell out of a window but we never saw his body, Jackson still wants to give the Jedi one more run. This is what he said to Colbert last week….

To rapturous audience applause, Jackson said, “I’d really love to give one more run at Mace Windu in Star Wars.”

Windu battled Emperor Palpatine for a brief moment of flashy swordplay in Revenge of the Sith before getting his right hand chopped off and then being electro-blasted out of a window. A fall from such great heights would kill any normal human, and in response to Colbert questioning Windu’s survivability, Jackson said, “There’s a long history of one-handed guys that were Jedis that have lightsabers that still make it. Jedis can fall from incredible heights and not die, like cats.”
