According to sources at Discussing Film, Lucasfilm’s Dave Filoni and director Alan Taylor will be helming some of the episodes from Jon Favreau’s upcoming live-action Star Wars series that will be debuting on Disney’s new streaming service. It is unclear which numerical episodes Filoni and Taylor will be directing, but their sources seem pretty firm in confirming their involvement in the series which is expected to run for 10 episodes with an estimated $100 million budget.

Favreau’s new series is slated to take place about 3 years after Return of the Jedi and is rumored to focus on Mandalore after the Empire met its demise.

As always, take this news with as much salt as needed until we hear otherwise from an official Lucasfilm/Disney source.
