Official Release Date for Star Wars: The Clone Wars Announced

The release date for Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7 has finally been announced, and we have not got long to wait!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Gets Official Release Date

The seventh and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming very soon to a galaxy near you.

While we previously found out Season 7 of The Clone Wars would arrive on the Disney+ streaming service sometime this February, we now have an exact release date. Per a new promotional video shared to Disney’s official website, Clone Wars Season 7 will premiere on Monday, Feb. 17.

Spinning out of the theatrically released animated film of the same name, Star Wars: The Clone Wars first premiered on Cartoon Network in 2008, running for five seasons. A sixth season — dubbed “The Lost Missions” — then dropped on Netflix in 2014. Even so, fans of the critically acclaimed Star Wars animated series lamented the lack of a proper conclusion and began campaigning for a revival.

Fans calling for the return of Clone Wars got their wish at Comic-Con International: San Diego in 2018, when Lucasfilm revealed the series would be revived for a 12-episode seventh season on Disney+. Now, roughly a year and a half later, we know exactly when the long-awaited final season will arrive on the streaming platform.

Please note that Disney+ is not currently available in all territories.
