Grammy Award Nominations for Childish Gambino, Michael Giacchino, John Powell & John Williams

The 61st annual Grammy award nominations have been announced with nods for Childish Gambino, Michael Giacchino, John Powell & John Williams.

Childish Gambino AKA Donald Glover gets four nominations for This is America for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance & Best Music Video, and one nomination for Best R&B Song for Feels Like Summer.

Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media features nominations for John Williams for Star Wars: The Last Jedi pitched against Michael Fiacchino for Coco (and three others). John Powell & John Williams are also nominated for Best Instrumental Composition for Mine Mission from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

John Williams is the topic of a couple of other awards for Best Engineered Classical Album for John Williams At The Movies by Keith O. Johnson & Sean Royce Martin and Best Classical Compendium for John Williams At The Movies by Jerry Junkin.
