UPDATED: First Full Trailer For ‘Solo’ Has Been Released

Lucasfilm has released the first full trailer for Oscar-winning director Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story during the broadcast of today’s Good Morning America on ABC. Starring Alden Ehrenreich as the titular lead and featuring Joonas Suotamo reprising his role as the mighty Chewbacca, the second Star Wars standalone film released under the new Disney umbrella will be arriving in theaters May 25.

A teaser trailer for the film came our way last night during the Super Bowl (be sure to check out our frame by frame breakdown right here).

Howard was selected as the new director for this standalone project in June after the departure of initial directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord. The announcement that principal photography on Solo had been completed came our way back in October which also included the reveal of the official title for the project. Not long after that announcement, fans began seeing teaser posters for the film displayed on movie theater walls, upping the hype for this Solo-centric feature even more.

Now we get an extended look at what Solo will be bringing to the silver screen in a few short months after last night’s enticing taste.

Enjoy the trailer above…or avoid it at all costs if you’re like me and refuse to watch trailers for new Star Wars films for the sake of spoilers.
