This coming Saturday from 5pm – 7pm Classic FM needs to be your destination as an evening of Star Wars music will grace the airwaves. From the seven episodes scored by John Williams to the recent treasures of Michael Giacchino’s Rogue One soundtrack, it’s set to be a rollercoaster ride through the sounds of the saga.

Star Wars: A New Hope was first released on 25th May 1977. To mark the 40th anniversary of this phenomenally successful franchise, set in a galaxy far, far away, Andrew Collins dips into John Williams’ scores from all of the films. Get ready for an evening of iconic sounds from the legend of movie music, along with Michael Giacchino’s score for the recent spin-off, Rogue One.
