UK Toy Fair 2020: LEGO (and Hasbro)

Toy Fair season is upon us and the UK show kicked off at Olympia in London on Tuesday January 21st, running through till Thursday January 23rd. The show is not open to the public but we braved the sub-zero temperatures to see what new Star Wars products were on offer.

As last year, Hasbro only exhibited behind the scenes at Toy Fair and press were not allowed to visit. Subsequently there is nothing to share again from the UK Toy Fair from Hasbro but expect lots of news from next month’s New York Toy Fair.

LEGO were similar to Hasbro in that press were not allowed to tour their booth, apart from being able to pose with a large scale Hidden Side school bus build. However, as recognised LEGO Fan Media we got to tour the booth with Brickset and Brick Fanatics. On entering the booth we were asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement and as such we are not allowed to share anything with you but there will be lots of news and reveals from LEGO over the next few weeks and during New York’s Toy Fair.

Congratulations to LEGO who won awards for the Hidden Side set Haunted Fairground (#70432) as one of Toy Fair’s Hero Toys for 2020, and also the Editor’s Choice award.
