Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019: Diorama Builders Workshop Reveal

Here’s a Christmas present from our good friend Frank Diorio of the Diorama Workshop as he reveals the theme for Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019, over to Frank….

Lucasfilm and ReedPop finally gave Frank Diorio the green light to reveal the theme for his 2019 Diorama Builders workshop booth that will be held next year during Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

Fans will be building … Drumroll please … THE BATTLE OF SCARIF as seen in one of the best Disney Era Star Wars films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

This is Diorio’s 8th Diorama Workshop in 17 years. Star Wars Celebration II Mos Eisley Diorama Builders workshop started this crazy fan adventure way back in 2002. Frank and his core crew (who all started as builders themselves and evolved into behind the scenes helpers for more than a decade now) bring true meaning to the Star Wars Celebration motto “FOR FANS BY THE FANS”.

Over the years, thousands of kids and adults have been introduced to this addictive and creative arts and crafts hobby and their passion has made the Diorama Builders booth one of the top favorite family activities at every USA Star Wars Celebration conventions.

As in the past workshops, fans will have multiple builds for all ages and skill levels to chose from including, and not limited, to Palm Trees, Beach tiles, Ocean tiles, Jungle tiles, Bunkers, Pods and Crates, AT-ACT’s and of course, the group build of the massive 7 foot Citadel Tower. It is going to be SPECTACULAR. Star Wars Celebration will be held in Chicago from April 11-15, 2019.
