BAM! The date for the biggie at Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 has been announced as director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will be heading up a must-see Episode IX panel on Friday, April 12 at the Celebration Stage. Expect our first look at the film, an official title reveal (if the title doesn’t land sooner) and a whole lot more.
With the culmination of the Skywalker Saga arriving before the end of the year, the Star Wars: Episode IX panel is one you will definitely not want to miss! With Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars: Episode IX director J.J. Abrams appearing on stage, you can count on plenty of surprises and special guests to keep your imagination buzzing for the rest of Celebration! Live on the Celebration Stage; streamed to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.
Saturday, April 13 will feature a panel dedicated to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in addition to three Lucasfilm animation panels scheduled to be held over the course of the 5-day event next month. Monday, April 15 will be highlighted by a special 20th anniversary panel for The Phantom Menace.
Monday tickets for Celebration (priced at $75 each) are still available as of the time of this posting. The 5-day event, which is a first for Celebration, will be held April 11-15 at the McCormick Place convention center.
