Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019: Anthony Daniels Attending

Anthony Daniels, the man behind everyone’s favorite protocol droid C-3PO for over four decades, will be appearing at Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 next month. Daniels will be headlining a panel titled “Droidography” on the Galaxy Stage on Saturday and will be available in Room W190A on Saturday and Sunday during the convention to sign autographs and pose for photographs with fans.

Anthony Daniels, the legendary actor who brought the goldenrod droid C-3PO to life in every Star Wars saga film so far as well as Rogue One, is headed to Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

Join him on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. as he presents “Droidography” on the Galaxy Stage, an hour of personal stories, hilarious wit, and an unforgettable in-person experience. Expect the unexpected as Daniels has a marvelous time, sometimes at the expense of unsuspecting audience members.

Or meet the man behind your favorite protocol droid in room W190A all day on Saturday and Sunday of Celebration weekend to get an autograph, snap a selfie, or say hello in one of over six million forms of communication.

The full Celebration panel schedule was revealed on March 22 and all of the attending Autograph Hall guests (61 in all topped off by Hayden Christensen) can be seen at this link. Presales for Celebration autographs/photo-ops began back on February 13 and will remain open till Monday, April 9 at 9:00pm CT. For fans who are unable to attend Star Wars Celebration Chicago 2019 in person, The Star Wars Show will be back with their LIVE broadcast throughout all 5 days.

Monday tickets for Celebration (Will Call pickup only) are still available as of the time of this posting. ReedPOP announced that they formed a new partnership with Lyte for the purpose of securely reselling tickets to Celebration (and other conventions) for those fans who are unfortunately unable to attend. The 5-day event, which is a first for Celebration, will be held April 11-15 at the McCormick Place convention center.
