Soundstage Events announce their next major Star Wars guest. David Crossman, co-costume designer alongside Glyn Dillon on next months Rogue One and 2018’s untitled Han Solo movie, will be discussing his work on the film and his wider career on 10th January. The event will take place at The Others, 6 Manor Road, Stoke Newington, inclusion on the attendance list is £15.00 and the doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
David Crossman is a co-costume designer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He played a key role in shaping the characters’ look in the highly-awaited film. He is also the costume supervisor for Episode VIII in the series and The Force Awakens, as well as the forthcoming Han Solo anthology film. As costume supervisor, David’s work includes Disney fantasy Maleficent, Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner, Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln and War Horse, and three Harry Potter films; the Goblet of Fire, the Prisoner of Azkaban and the Chamber of Secrets. He worked as military costumer on Saving Private Ryan and Valkyrie. His career began 20 years ago as wardrobe assistant on 1997 thriller The Jackal, starring Bruce Willis and Richard Gere.
