The official NYCC website has been updated with some very important news pertaining to the availability and purchasing of tickets to this year’s convention. The main highlights are copied below, but be sure to take the supplied source link for more details.

– As was the case last year, a Fan Verification Profile will be required for anyone that wants a ticket to NYCC. Fan Verification will be opening on April 19.
– Fan Verification Profiles from 2016 will be carried over to this year. In addition, fans with 2016 carry-over Fan Verification Profiles will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets with a special 2017 ticket presale (details to come shortly).
– Due to on-going construction at the Javits Center, ReedPOP will be eliminating 3-Day and 4-Day ticket types. Only individual single-day tickets (Thursday through Sunday) will be available for purchase in 2017.
– 2017 tickets will be going on sale during a weekend date (TBD) and the virtual ticketing queue will be returning as well.
