Our pal Greig of Darth Elvis and the Imperials drops us a line with details of their next gig.
Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is all about having fun and being creative without any of the snobbery or pretentious crap that is often associated with Art, Artists and Art Sessions.
This month we have a total twist on our usual burlesque goodness, and it’s still only £5!
For your entertainment we have a performance from Darth Elvis and the Imperials – a Star Wars themed Elvis Tribute act. I absolutely love these guys and I bet you will, too!
We shall also have some members of the UK Garrison of the 501st Legion! The UKs premier Star Wars costuming group!

For those of you who just want to come see the gig, special tickets will be available to come just for the music, although you may be gently encouraged to grab a pencil and start drawing stick-figure Stormtroopers!
I can’t stress enough, EVERYONE is welcome at Dr Sketchy’s. Doesn’t matter if you think you can’t draw, if you’re at all interested in art, burlesque or any combination of the two, there’s a seat and some supplies with your name on them!
We supply basic materials but more advanced artists who are more particular about their preferred mediums may want to bring their own stuff.
All forms of artist is welcome, if you want to come and do pencil/ink stuff, bring an easel and do oil painting or if you’re a digital artist bring your tablet!
And listen out for more from Darth Elvis and the Imperials when we launch our podcast, which should be arriving in the next few short weeks.
