New York Comic Con 2020: Professional Registration & Panel Submissions Now Open

We know your mind is focused on about 5,000 other things right now with what’s going on around the world with the coronavirus, but we just wanted to let our readers know that Professional Badge Registration and the application process for Panels for New York Comic Con 2020 are now live. Take each respective link below.

Press badge applications will be opening next month on April 13.

NYCC 2020 is scheduled for October 8-11 at the Javits Center.

Professional Registration

NYCC welcomes professionals across the full spectrum of pop culture industries and is happy to provide a Professional badge to approved artists, buyers, creators, editors, educators, librarians, licensors, producers, publishers, tastemakers, retailers, and writers currently working or retired from comics and popular arts. Due to the volume of applications, we cannot provide Professional badges to support staff, such as administrative staff, facilities, IT, operations and others who are not directly involved in the creative process. All employees must apply and will be evaluated on an individual basis.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to an overwhelming amount of applications, NYCC Professional badges are limited and are not guaranteed for all who apply. Receiving a Professional badge in the past does not guarantee you will be approved this year.

Registration will be open until Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:59 PM ET.

Panel Submissions Application

The panels and screenings at New York Comic Con span every fandom imaginable. It’s a pop culture junkie’s dream. We’ve got your favorite comics, TV, movies, books, toys, video games, cosplay, anime and manga covered at New York Comic Con, but we need your help! Do you have a great idea the world needs to know about or a panel you want to bring to NYCC?

We are looking for podcasts, interactive panels such as sing-a-longs and trivia, and content geared towards kids and families as well as traditional panel programming. If you’ve got a creative and original idea, we want to hear from you!

The panel and screening application closes on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11:59 PM ET.

You will hear back about the status of your panel application by Friday, August 7.
