Heathrow Airport cancelled a flight to the planet Alderaan – which was destroyed by the Death Star – in a tribute to Star Wars Day. An additional Departures board in Heathrow listed destinations in the Star Wars universe replete with references to the films. The flight code for Tatooine was R2D2, while the flight to Alderaan – the home planet of Princess Leia destroyed by the Death Star – was cancelled.
