The programming schedule for Friday at SDCC 2015 has been officially released, which includes Hasbro’s Star Wars panel and the crown jewel of SDCC this year – the Episode VII The Force Awakens event being held by Lucasfilm in Hall H.

Star Wars Publishing 2015: Part 1
A dynamic, all-star New York Times bestselling panel of authors including Alexandra Bracken (the Darkest Minds series), Adam Gidwitz (A Tale Dark and Grim series), Tom Angleberger (The Origami Yoda series), and Tony Diterlizzi (The Spiderwick Chronicles series) converse with Lucasfilm’s Mike Siglain about the new Star Wars retellings for a younger generation of fans. Star Wars Goes Steampunk
From Admiral Ackbar to Master Yoda, enjoy a lively discussion and slideshow on how your favorite Star Wars characters and designs have been re-engineered in Steampunk style. Steampunk artist and Star Wars fan, Brian Kesinger (artist/writer Walking Your Octopus) and fellow Southern California Star Wars Steampunks will discuss what it takes to create Steampunk concepts based on traditional designs until the art becomes cosplay reality. The program will finish with “How to Steampunk a Star Wars Character in 60 Seconds” with all Steampunks and Star Wars cosplayers brought forward to show off their incredible creations!
