A year ago today, Rancho Obi-Wan was re-opened to an invited crowd of 180 people.  It was also a year ago today that Rancho Obi-Wan became a non-profit organistaion with the specific purpose to serve the public through the collection, conservation, exhibition and interpretation of Star Wars memorabilia and artifacts, using the collection to provide meaningful educational, aesthetic, intellectual and cultural experiences for a wide array of audiences and to carry on other charitable and educational activities associated with this goal.

We are so grateful for the dreams that Steve Sansweet has followed and the passion he’s put into Rancho Obi-Wan, it’s a wonderful place that’s been created with much love and should be supported in the same way by taking out an annual membership or arranging a personally guided tour by the man himself.

On a personal note, I want to say a big THANK YOU to Steve for his continued love and friendship and his on-going support for Jedi News and CurtoBurns – it means so very much.

We wish Steve congratulations (Mazal Tov) on reaching this milestone – along with Bob, Anne, Stew, Consetta and everybody else involved at Rancho Obi-Wan.  As we’ve learnt in the last week, the future is very bright and we can say with some certainty that Star Wars is Forever

If you want to re-live the grand re-opening, then check out the great gallery of images and videos taken by our friends at MintInBox.net.
