Forbes provides us with details and an exclusive first look at a brand new Star Wars product line Hasbro will be releasing later this year called Star Wars Hero Mashers.

Last year, Hasbro introduced a new kind of toy for the Marvel Comics license: Marvel Super Hero Mashers. The limbs, torso and accessories for the action figure are meant to be pulled apart and reassembled. Hasbro expanded the Hero Mashers concept to include the robots of the Transformers franchise – Autobots, Decepticons, and Dinobots alike. Both properties were represented across films, television, video games, and toys, but the Hero Mashers line aimed to provide something different: an interactive creative play experience for young boys that didn’t rely on the film-accurate detail or expensive price points of their elder toy-obsessed brethren.

Hasbro saw enough success with their IP-connected Hero Masher lines that they’ll be introducing toys from this year’s hottest films and franchises, adding Jurassic World and Star Wars: Rebels to the Hero Mashers universe as well as expanding the Marvel Heroes with Mashers from Disney’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
