Mattel CEO Margo Georgiadis Steps Down (As Does Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger)

It’s a day for stepping down….¬†Mattel’s CEO Margo¬†Georgiadis steps down after just 14 months in the job, and will be replaced by Ynon Kreiz from Maker Studios.

The company said she is leaving to pursue a “new opportunity in the technology sector”, with separately confirming she would be joining the family history site. She will remain with Mattel in an advisory capacity until 10 May, and will sit in on the company’s Q1 conference call next week.

The outgoing chief executive will be replaced by Ynon Kreiz, who joins the toy company from Disney’s Maker Studios.

In similar news (relevant to some Star Wars fans including our good friend Kyle Newman) Arsene Wenger, the manager of Arsenal football club for 22 years, has finally decided to leave at the end of the season.
