For your viewing (or RE-viewing) pleasure, here’s a complete action figure lineup of Hasbro’s animated-style toy line based on the Star Wars: Clone Wars micro-series by Genndy Tartakovsky. The award-winning series ran from 2003 until 2005, broken up into 2 seasons that filled in some of the gaps between Episode II and Episode III. This years marks the 10th anniversary of the finale of this series, and I recently watched them again during the holidays. So I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the entire line!

The line consisted of 20 figures, spread out over 3 different waves and 4 DVD boxed sets* (*DVD not included). The sculpting of these figures perfectly matched the style of the show, right down to the proportions and facial expressions. There was also limited articulation added, which made these more statues than action figures, but since the line was limited to only a handful of figures, many collectors didn’t seem to mind this. Each figure included a display stand as well…which helped them to stay in their poses, since balancing them was rather tricky.

The majority of the figures were unique, although there were a few opportunities for repaints and kit-bashes…especially when the Season 2 box sets came out.

ToyFare #109 ran a special column that spotlighted the entire line, and the figures used in the photos were actually the ones you see above…as I loaned them out to the publisher to be shot and printed. Good times!
