Exciting Rogue One apparel items are coming soon to the Disney Parks! Her Universe revealed a few previews in an interview by Catrina Dennis, which appeared in the latest Force for Fashion column over at StarWars.com. The interview goes into how Her Universe came about, the apparel that will be showing up exclusively at Disney Park locations, the Ahsoka Tano LEGO dress that Ashley wore at San Diego Comic-Con, and much more. So, what are some of the products that fans will be seeing later this fall?
Star Wars Timeline Skirt
Designed by freelance artist Ashley Taylor (who also created the designs on the Cantina Band Skirt and Poster Tee as well as the AT-ATs on the upcoming AT-AT cardigan), the Star Wars Timeline Skirt takes inspiration from the legendary Mary Blair and captures the events from the first six films along the hem. It’s such a unique and refreshing design, especially since a lot of the apparel out there tends to fall on the generic side with slapped-on logos and symbols. Given the success of the lightsaber skirt, I have a feeling this one is going to be a hit among the female fans in the community.
Suspected price? Since both the Cantina Band and Lightsaber Skirts are $75, I assume it’ll be around the same for the Timeline Skirt.
Whether you love them or hate them, you can’t deny that the Ewok Cardigan is absolutely adorable and perfect for most professional settings. The 3/4 length sleeved sweater features two embroidered Ewok designs and comes in a navy blue color, like the X-wing cardigan. If Ewoks aren’t your thing, then stay tuned for the AT-AT cardigan that’ll also be coming out soon.
Suspected price? The X-wing and High Commander Cardigan are both $50, and since this new sweater follows the same structure, you’ll probably want to save up that amount if you’re looking to add this sweater to your collection.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Dress
One of the first things I thought about after watching the Rogue One trailer was, “I wonder what Her Universe has in store for fans looking for Rogue One apparel.” It was revealed back at Emerald City Comicon that Her Universe had been working on Rogue One items since last year, so it’s a real treat to finally find out that one of the designs is a cap-sleeve dress featuring a “plans of the Death Star” print.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Top
To round out the reveals, here is a top that features a beautifully colored galaxy-filled Rebel Alliance symbol. The soft colors continue on the back, since the lower panel also features a galaxy print. That kind of detail is something Ashley would call the Her Universe touch! I love that the back is also long and perfect to wear with leggings or skinny jeans.
Suspected price? If the top is similar to the Try Not Triangle Chiffon Tee or Maison de Vader Tee, then it’ll probably sell for $35.
That’s not all, however. Ashley promises there’ll be additional Rogue One fashion on the way, “Right now, we’re working on two brand new additions for Rogue One for our Disney Parks collection. One of them is a beautiful new dress, and there’s a fashion top as well. And I like that sense of mystery!”
What makes all of this so exciting and simultaneously frustrating is that the clothes will be sold exclusively at Disney Park locations. I don’t have access to California or Florida, so it would have pleased more fans if the merchandise had also been made available on the Her Universe or Disney Store websites. Be sure to keep a close eye on the Shop Disney Parks app, however, since some of the styles could possibly appear there in the future.
In the meantime, make sure to follow Her Universe on Twitter and Instagram for more updates.
